If it was awesome than maybe but the whole place is ridiculously green, filled with ugly architecture and politicians and almost no people. It was actually created simply because the two major cities (sydney and Melboune) couldn't decide who was going to be the capitol so they compromised and planetd something in the middle. Its actually closer to Sydney though so sucked in Melbourne.

There are also a lot of round abouts, you can sunbake just about anywhere because they're a literally no cars except for 5 minute periods between 8:25 and 8:30 and 4:25 and 4:30 and through some freakish warping of space and time it takes almost exactly 20 minutes to get pretty much anywhere

That is astonishingly similar to how Ottawa became capital of Canada... Toronto and Montreal were practically at eachother's throats about the whole thing, so someone decided to make a new city, right at the border between Ontario and Montreal. Etc.
