I find that the background and the border of the Deidara picture to take away from the rest of the picture, decreasing the total effect that the picture has. It looks, I dunno, messy. It's still nice, but it just seems like it could be more.

Hm... you're right of course.

I lightened here and I'd like to know which looks better. The reason it is so dark is so that it matches the colour of the eye- keeping with the same colour scheme.

Hmm...indeed.  Nice edit.  Yes he does stand out much better now, specifically the eye now that they are different shades. *applauds* ^^

I can't tell the difference really except for the shade of the outline, but that's probably just because I don't have both of them on the screen at once... :-(  Anyway, tis a nifty drawing.

I've noticed.

Well, I did have a picture I was working on, but I got to a certain stage when I realised it was just plain crap and not worth the effort, so I stopped. Therefore, I'm looking for something new to do. In other words, it may be a little while before I have anything worth posting...
