Solitaire
« on: October 10, 2007, 10:07:48 PM »
No matter what fancy games or shiny things I do on my computer, inevitably, I will find myself drifting back to the classic game of Solitaire.

Today, I bested a personal record of mine, that being the score. Note that I play on Standard scoring, One Draw. I got 8709 (87 seconds), with a bonus of 8015. Screenshot to prove it is attached.

What's everyone else's best scores?

Ahh... I used to be addicted to this game. I never did scoring, but my lowest time was something like... 58 seconds? Anyway, here's how I did today:

There is something about the number six lately :/

Anyways, I'm really bad at solitaire. It takes me multiple minutes to play it, and I don't like it. I prefer playing with real cards anyways. Except for Freecell. I'm never going to be bored enough to deal all those cards like that.

Why would anyone cheat playing solitaire?  It's such an easy game  :-\

The only problem with RL Solitaire (Klondike, I think they call it) is that the cards do not bounce down when you win

I think my high score was in the high ten thousands, but I might have reached 11 thousand.  Not sure though...

Also, we need a screensaver of your computer exploding, too.  I can just see it now. =D

Back when I had dial-up I played solitaire while waiting for websites to load. Amusingly, one day I observed Mike doing the same thing on his computer- "Oh, hey, you do that too?"

I never really pay attention to the score/time, but I think my best time was 80 seconds. Freecell is more challenging, but also more frustrating.

Oh, when it asks you you to deal again and you select "no," it stays on the blank screen. That always kinda bothered me.

(Also, this is completely irrelevant, but my avatar kicks ass.)
