Yeah, Caramelldansen has NOTHING to do with this at all. It's just what I'm listening to at the momenth.
Here is a sappy story I wrote for English class. Which reminds me, I need to email it to my teacher.
Points if you know what happened, why they got blowed up.
"The End of Our World As We Know It"
It was a normal day, as far as normal days go. I had done everything according to my daily schedule. Wake up, shower, say good morning to Rei, eat, and the two of us head to school. We walked hand in hand as usual, not saying a word, just taking in the beauty of the morning. It was 7:15 when we arrived at the our school/ And as usual, we headed for the music room. Rei made herself comfortable in front of the piano. I took my cello out of its case and sat down on the edge of the piano bench.
"What would you like to play today, Shinji?" Rei asked me. "Hmm..." I thought for a moment. "How about the Canon in D? We haven't played that for a while." Rei smiled, and gestured for me to begin. I pulled the bow back on the first F of the slow progression. Rei joined me after the first measure, her slender fingers slowly depressing the ivory keys. As we reached the fifth phrase, the melody began to pick up. Rei's fingers flew in response to my full quarter notes. She played the eighths and sixteenths with such ease and delicacy and I was reminded of how much I love her. I looked up from my cello to take a look at my fiances face as she plaed. While her hands danced across the piano, her eyes were closed softly, and her lips pursed together ever so slightly, as if she was delivering a kiss to the gentlest of flowers. We entered the last phrase, and our playing slowed, then ceased. We were silent for a few moments, and then Rei turned to me.
"Shinji, dearest, you were a little flat in measure 42." I narrowed my eyes at her for a second. "I was distracted, of course, by that ridiculous face you make when you play."
"Shinji! You shouldn't stare at me! It's not polite!" Rei exclaimed, as she attempted to hide her laughter. I smiled and took the giggling girl into my arms. "Rei, I-"
My sentence was cut off by the loudest explosion I had ever heard. A bright light entered through the window, and a tremor shook the school. I couldn't hear or see, and the only thing I could feel was Rei clinging to me and the floor falling away from us. I felt a great warmth spread through me as I landed on the floor below us. Rei slipped from my grasp momentarily, and almost descended to the bottom of the hole opening up in front of me. I grabbed her hands, and felt the tug of her weight try and drag me down with her. A wave of great pain and heat spread over me, and I heard the other people in the bulding scream, and cry out to others. Rei and I were silent. We held eachothers hands, and eachothers gaze. We didn't need to cry, our fears were clearly shown in our eyes.
"Shinji..." she choked. Dust had filled her mouth. She coughed, and her whole body shook in my hands. "Don't speak, Rei. I'll help you up." I tried to pull her, but my hands trembled as I tugged hers. Rei's right hand slipped away from me, and I felt her weight drag me toward the edge. "Rei, don't worry. I'll hold on until help arrives." I gazed beyond her, and into the void beneath us. If I dropped her, she wouldn't not live to see tomorrows sunrise.
I could feel the tears caressing my cheeks and the realization set in. Rei smiled, with tears in her own eyes, and said, "Shinji...It's alright. I'll see you again, someday soon." I reached my other arm out towards her. "No, Rei. We'll get you out of here. Come on, give me your hand." She blinked as if to shake her head. "You're arm is broken...can you not feel it? Try to move it..."
I tried to move my left arm, and it raised slightly, but it was quite limp. A stab of pain shot through me, but it went unnoticed. "Okay, Rei, grab onto my rig-"
"Shinji...." she said softly, over the crumbling building around us, and the screams for help ringing through the wreckage. "Listen, Shinji, it'll be fine. I'll be fine."
"No, Rei, it's a 6 story fall...you can't...You won't.."
"I know."
"I'm not letting you go."
Rei squeezed my hand with the last of her strength, and I could feel the sharp edges of her diamond ring press into my palm. As her hand slid out of mine, it diamond stratched through my skin, drawing a bloody line across my hand, and down one of my fingers. I saw her relax her hand, and fall away from me.
"Rei!!!" I screamed her name and pushed myself off the remains of the floor I was on, and dived through the thick air after her. My arms caught her shoulders, and I wrapped them around her, the two of us falling fast, so fast. "Rei, I love you!" I tumbled in the air, and I was falling backfirst, Rei laying on top of me. The last thing I saw before I closed my eyes was her soft brown eyes, and instead of sadness or fear, it was the happiest I had ever seen her, and a beautiful smile lit her face. I returned her smile and held her closer. The feeling of being complete was so overwhelming, I never even felt us hit the ground.

"Shinji...Shinji..."
I could hear Rei's voice calling to me...
"Shinji...come on."
I opened my eyes, and saw Rei standing above me, bathed in a beautiful light. "Rei...where are we." I asked. Rei looked off in the distance for a moment, then turned to me and smiled. "Come on Shinji...they're waiting for us." She extended her hand, and helped me up. Together, hand in hand as always, we walked into the light.
