S.O.S. Australia
« on: November 24, 2007, 10:28:58 PM »
Good Evening and Welcome to another episode of 'Same Old Shit' Australia. Yesterday was the federal election and in a (not so) shocking turn of events, Labor has come into power, making Kevin Rudd Australia's 26th Prime Minister. John Howard, former Prime Minister, also looks set to lose his seat in Bennelong. Sadly, the Greens also appear to have lost seats, proving the point that Australia still cares more about jobs than Global Warming.

So what does this sudden change of Government mean for Australia? Well, looking at Labor's polices, not a great deal. Rudd's polices basically mimic the Liberals' with slightly less harsh IR laws. That's right people, it's still the Same Old Shit down here in Aussie. We'll keep you posted in the event that something does change.

I say we take most of the world leaders and crack their heads together and give em a clue.  Sounds similar to the crap we go through here in Canada, but...I can't compare the two too much. I'll have to take your word for it.  Ugh...

To the land of the sun where our journeys begun
All fear is gone, we sail until the dawn
Deepest fears will burn inside your mind
For the souls lost in endless time

Their story shall be told in another time...another place
