Indeed...and agreed.  I have never known it to be any other way as well. Only our friends from the U.S. put them up that early. There is a ritual associated with Thanksgiving we don't have here in Canada, or other 'Monarch' countries as well. I'm sure OwA can explain it much better then I though.

Oh, that was just me. I normally don't do it before the first of the year, but because we got an artificial one this time, we had to get it early because it was a 7ft tree on sale for $60. We got the last one.

I'm really looking forward to this Christmas because I finally got a job and I'm able to buy things for other people. So far I think I've made some good choices, although some people are difficult to shop for.

It's also nice and snowy this year. The last two Christmases were green :/

Well, I spent last Christmas in a cottage/shack thing 100km from phone reception or any sort of vague civilisation with a 12-yr old I despise with my entire heart. That, and the cottage was full of spiders. And other nasty Australian bush creepy-crawlies. -twitch-

Anything has to be better than doing that again...

On a Christmas-y note, my friends mother informed me I could spend Christmas with them. I almost cried :(

I have pretty good balance on ice, which is kind of funny... I think it's just the way I walk.

Winter has long been my least favorite season, even more so now that I'm a driver. We're getting those nice strips of black ice- had one entirely down my house's driveway Monday morning. Very, uh, painful for most involved.
