We know it will happen. You'll come around the corner, going home from your favorite store, and there you'll see it. A mindless, brain eating, rotting fleshed zombie. It shambles, it shuffles, it lets out a horrifying moan as it sees you! How will you defend yourself? What will you do? What about when the dead rise to reclaim the world?

Are you PREPARED?!

I'll pull out my katana and slice its head off.
I'm not a fan of guns on zombies, unless you're using a shotgun (big holes close range! ) because most bullets don't do anything to them unless you hit them in the head, and I have horrible aim, so traditional weaponry will be the way to go. Sure, it's short range, but if you're constantly slicing heads off, you have no problem. And you never run out of ammo
First thing after weapons, (or maybe before) is to get a decent vehicle, in case you need to make a fast getaway.
I'd also try and find any survivors, because, hey, two, three, four, five, etc is better than one...except in the case of zombies.
Flashy things are also good. Fireworks.

Hopefully, I'll have one of these and be able to hold my own for a while before they eat my brain.
If I don't, I'll run away like hell, where I might run into a zombie, who will eat my brain after I try to remember the tiny bit of judo I knew and have forgotten and fail miserably.

The only way in which I believe my brain wouldn't be eaten would be if the story's hero manages to reverse zombification or finds a superweapon that destroys all the zombies, and I'm one of the lucky few civilians that managed to avoid the zombie invasion.

Otherwise, my brain will be eaten.

I hate to say it, but I'll obviously be the evil mastermind behind the co ordination of the Zombie invasion. My options available are a) the Zombies will turn on me or b) the Hero of the story will come and kill me in my lab/mansion/dark-and-shadowy castle. As you can see, there's not much I can do when the Zombies come, except for enjoy the mayhem as best I can. :]

There are a bunch of old soldiers in my neighbourhood at least one should have a loaded rifle. Ill acquire it then barracade my house, destroying the stairs. Then hold out for back-up. If I ran out of food first then Ill escape via the roof and steal from abandoned houses. More later.

Oh well, Zombies are allergic to Australia anyway. There's too much empty desert and not enough brains.

Those were less zombies and more mutants. Although I guess zombies can be mutants if you look at it right. Anyway, I don't think housecats could mutate into that just by joining the ranks of the undead.

Protome: I still don't need to worry, because it's too damn cold/snow covered for the zombies to get around. They'd slip on the ice! =D
