Someone needs to learn not to invoke Murphy's Law.

All fear is gone, we sail until the dawn
Deepest fears will burn inside your mind
For the souls lost in endless time

Their story shall be told in another time...another place

Step 1. Open mouth

Step 2. Insert foot

Step 3. Tickle tonsils with toes vigorously

What's this?  You can verbally invoke Murphy's Law?  But this means...

Mwahaha!  It shall become my greatest superpower to date - the ability to invoke Murphy's Law at will!  All will fear my powers - after all, it could be worse, couldn't it?  Couldn't it?  Ah, Murphy you fool; look at the doom your foolish law has brought upon the land!

CURSES AND DRAT! Someone actually managed to realize this before me... fortunately I happen to know something that could be worse which would be natrually to have me in charge.  >.>  And I'm not fool enough to say it. So it won't get worse... until someone else says it.  :-(

I wonder if invoking it will bring it back upon the invoker. Kind of like karma, but funnier for the rest of us.

It would be interesting to see if you could try and make it work on other people. For example "It couldn't get any worse for ....." It could have enourmous potential as a weapon too, "It couldn't get any worse for France" for example.

"This just in, France was suddenly wiped out by a plague of baguettes."

On another note, I just figured out what the booing thing was.

How would a plague of baguettes be a bad thing?

I mean, that's a hell of a lot of free bread.

Unless they were day-old baguettes... Then all the French would lose their teeth, and die of starvation as they could no longer eat efficiently, just hope to gum the baguettes into submission.

I guess a plague of baguettes would be a bad thing.

Perhaps everyone got knocked out, those things are pretty hard you know. Then the country would grind to a halt, the economy would collapse, no-one would be governing and no food could be produced. Then they would be invaded by the Ukraine or maybe Macedonia.

Who wants to invade a country that's covered in hardened bread, and indeed only seems to have a future of more of it to come?  Unless you can manage to find a way to use it as a raw resource, such as grinding the baggetts into a power and then using that powder to make some sort of un-ruined food... But anyway...  I don't get why he couldn't handle a bat considering his nature...

Your mentioning of Murphy's Law has reminded me of a preview I saw the other day for Dane Cook's new movie.

God, he's funny...
