I think it was for new ops, or something like that. Personally, I don't see the point, since the channel is so quiet that it doesn't need any more ops.

Y'know, I'm starting to think IRC chat was a bad idea...
The only people ever in there are myself, Emu and Vortor from my channel/#bobandgeorge.
And I'm the only one that really updates the topic...not much action.
I'm not saying disband it, maybe do something to..maybe boost IRC popularity?

Dessert: Hush, not cute.

I'd go in there more often, except that I'm not wanted.

I have the insurmountable difficulty of it being blocked at work, which is where I spend most of my computer time.

I walked in earlier this week (using the java thingy) but found that the room wasn't even registered.  Did y'all just let it slide, or did no one ever register it?

Also, I'm using X-Chat 2.0.10c for Windows.  It's way better than mIRC in my opinion, as the functions are much more user-friendly in terms of figure-out-ability.

It kind of died. I still hold open a room though, irc.darkmyst.org, #wayreth. You can hang out there until I get the chat back up (which will be sometime this weekend) seeing as i'm the only one who goes on IRC anymore around here :P

The channel died cold and alone, as no one visted it.

No, not even you.

I would offer to manage it, but I already have too many things to do in real life.  I do frequent some other channels on Espernet (and sometimes DarkMyst), so I wouldn't mind either.

You're on espernet? AND darkmyst? What channels do you frequent?

Too many.

My usual selection these days is among these, with varying degrees of frequency:
Chat4All: #holycrikey (my own channel), #mmpc
Espernet: #tropers, #megaman-network, #tropers-rp
Metroid2002: #metroid
ChatSpike: #gxc (I'm thinking of dropping this, because no one comes here and I'm doing this only out of obligation)
MandogIRC: #cv

I used to hang out on Kaffeinenet's #Doukutsu, but I haven't gone there for a while.  Also, I used to hang out on Slashnet's #tropers and #tropers-rp, but it started getting netsplits left and right so we moved to Espernet.

Edit: I forgot about DarkMyst.  I don't go there often, but when I do, it's usually #narshe, #arc-nova.org, and I've recently added #totc to the join list for DarkMyst.
