5 hours, I sat down to write a big long rant about something. I forget what it was, although it seemed really important at the time.
Then,
I played this.
For anyone with even a passing familiarity with
Penny Arcade, the fact that they were making a game is not a surprise. Honestly, I wasn't quite expecting what they delivered. It's a blend of RPG and action game which is difficult to describe, but when you get used to it, it just feels... right.
Anyway, the quirky storyline and Tycho's unique style of humour really make it feel like it's a big, long, animated, 3d, interactive Penny Arcade comic, and that's a good thing. My only regret is that it's not very long. However, since it's "Episode One", that particular regret is moot.
So, I guess that what I'm trying to say is that if you haven't played it yet, you should do so now.
