Barack Obama wins!  First black president ever.  First sane president since 2000.

...Sorry about going broke, Zero. ;)

Woohoo!

I've never been "strongly" political, but I really believe this will bring about some much needed change for the better in America. I was watching the election follow-up most of the evening, and they were in kenya where there were several thousand Obama supporters packed into one small village.
I need to reiterate that.
IN KENYA
In an international community we have people supporting an American President. That's a huge leap forward. I can only hope that this will push back some of the rather insistent anti-american sentiment that "Dubya" has brought us.

At work last night, as the numbers were coming in, the entire place I worked all but shut down when we heard Obama had such a huge lead. Lots of cheering ensued.

I saw this in a re-cap this morning as well. And, well lets just say I had plenty of time on my hands this morning to watch all of the re-caps from last night and today as well...INTERNATIONALLY I might add. For once, I have to completely and whole heartedly agree with the One Winged one....without prejudice, sarcasm, or any kind of underlying joke whatsoever.

To better times ahead -salutes-

To the land of the sun where our journeys begun
All fear is gone, we sail until the dawn
Deepest fears will burn inside your mind
For the souls lost in endless time

Their story shall be told in another time...another place
