New exclusive content makes me want.

Though if it's after Ballos it's not worth it.  I gave up on that ages ago. XD

..Then again, a console controller is a little easier to handle than a keyboard for action games.

Ballos sucks. In so many ways.

I may even steal protome's concept and write a review for it after it comes out.

So, wait, if all of the graphics are fully upgraded, will you be upgrading the comic's sprites, Mike?

I'd suggest not to, seeing as changing graphics is a pretty big thing in sprite comics.  Also, you've already got the sheets for the old one.

Well, I don't really know if I like the new sprites, since I've only seen one.

Regardless, I will not be upgrading them, since my comic is based on Cave Story on the PC, not on the Wii. However, depending on what the bonus content is and if I can fit it into my story, then I would likely do that.

I'll be getting this simply because the creator deserves to finally get some cash for his masterpiece.

Not necessarily related, but Cave story related nonetheless. Give yourself 23 minutes.

Ah, I saw this the other day, but didn't have time to watch it! I have now, though. My thoughts:

Overall: I think it would be better if he slowed the tempo down just a tad.

Access, Gestation, Mimiga Town: Beautiful
Balrog's Theme: Lol
Gravity: An interesting take on the song.
Cemetary: I love this song.
On To Grasstown: Hell yes!
Eyes of Flame: Eh... Didn't do it for me. Would probably be better if slower...
Tyrant: Really short, but yeah.
Run!: Now, THIS is a fast song!
Jenka 1: This is my second favourite song, and he does it nice
Jenka 2: Ugh, I can't even hear the notes...
Labyrinth Fight: ... in stark contrast to this, which is made of pure awesome
Geothermal: Another beautiful song which he did not ruin by making really fast.
Oppression: It's hard to mess this song up, since it's basically a mashup in the original, but this is very nice!
Moonsong: Again, just beautiful. This song was designed for piano.
Hero's End: A strangely eerie song... just as it should be.
Cave Story: Alas, too fast. Other than that, it's well played, other than a few missed notes.
Last Cave: This... this has a different feel than the original. But, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Balcony: The calm before the storm...
Charge: f*** YES.
Zombie: A jarring piece, but that's a good thing in this case.
Last Battle: A fitting rendition of this awesome song.
Break Down: A haunting song, and he captures it nicely.
Running Hell: Yes yes yes!

No love for: Mischievous Robot, Pulse, Safety, Meltdown 2, Living Waterway, Quiet, The Way Back Home, Toroko's Theme.

AHAHAHAHAHA

Balrog's Theme.

<3

Edit:  gotta say, Mike, I think Last Cave has the same feel as the original.  Maybe not the music for there, haven't heard it in a while, but the general "OH SHIT I'M IN HELL" feel got through.

Then again, you weren't in Hell...  Yet...

Well, the original had a... a determined feeling. Like, you know you're getting close to the end of your quest. However, this feels more like... um... i'm not sure how to describe it...
