An interesting idea I got from another forum a few years ago.  Just take a screenshot of your desktop and post it on here (not as an image, but as a link to an image- posting a giant image tends to screw up forum formats pretty badly.)

In case you don't know how, just hit the "Prt Scrn" button, paste into Paint, save it, go to tinypic.com and upload it. Takes like 2 minutes.

Having just changed mine to my newly found Cave Story background, here it is.

I'm one of those few people who have like 20 million folders sitting there on the desktop rather than a neat but lengthy directory.

Wow you guys have messy desktops. I have liek, 6 folders all neatly organised. And all my shortcuts are accessed through Steam. Keeps it all tidy ^_^

It's possible. I personally don't use Vista, as i use my PC for gaming...

I finally got around to creating my own account on this computer so that my desktop isn't cluttered with my sister's junk.

So much more stuff on my desktop, it's ridiculous. Oh, and a background I quickly whipped up in Photoshop CS4 with some brushes I downloaded. Oh, and Vista fail for not supporting PNG backgrounds -- I had to save as a .dib. Luckily, the 3MB file compresses down to 400k with NTFS compression, but...

My desktop, this month (see attachemnt).

I am fond of this picture, as Gold/Silver was one of my favourite Gameboy games of all time. The upcoming remakes fill me with anticipation, though it renders this picture hopelessly obsolete (Red gets a Lapras?! Madness!)
