Sweet Scent of Blood
« on: April 13, 2009, 08:36:05 PM »
A new story, for a new crazy mix of reality and fantasy. This is my mix.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
story warning: yelling, violence, blood, gore, A.R Bracelets(think pokemon for the A.R), random guns, abuse of food for guns, references to pokemon(pokemon owned by Nintedo and GameFreaks, not me), Rated T for teens(at least 15+), mention of real life people(who I asked first), out of characterness, and diolouge a plentyfuls!

Sweet Scent of Blood

Chapter 1

“Dal, what are you doing?” I asked, walking into our apartment.
It has been a few years now, so it’s 2015, so about six. Anyway, my sister Dallas is a genius. She can do a lot, like build things that one never thought they could live without. She’s amazing. We live together because we promised we would a few years back. So now that we do, we like it a lot. Mainly because we have our own rooms so we can do whatever we want to.
“Building something I said I would a few years back,” Dal responded to me, waving her hand for me to be gone.
   “Mmmkay,” I mumbled walking off.
That went on for a few days, her answer was the same every time I asked her that question. Her waving me off to go away was the same every time as well. So I decided to leave her alone to work, so I left her a sticky note of where I would be and how to reach me.
I walked off to the one place where I loved to be. A place where all my friends I knew in high school go to when ever they really wanted to. I went to ‘The Wall’, it is a club. Well the outside looked that way anyway. It really was a big abandoned building that no one went to and I decided to buy it and make it useful. I used all the money I had, and some from every one else I knew who wanted that place. I made it into a club, for weekends, to make some money off it.
“I love this place,” I muttered as I walked in to my beloved club.
“We all do, Rose,” I heard from somewhere farther in.
“I know, but I think I love it the most,” I replied, walking farther to sit down.
“Oh, we’ll see.” I knew I heard the voice before, it sounded male. I just couldn’t pinpoint it just yet. I was still mad at Dal for not telling me what she was doing.
“I know I should’ve asked this when you spoke earlier, but who’s there?” I asked, feeling stupid that I had to ask.
“You really should have, but I suppose you will know, My Rose.” I finally realized who it was. The way he said that last part gave him away.
“Oh, I should have known it was you boo,” I smiled as I jumped up and pounced on him.
“Oof! Hey there, it seems like you’ve missed me,” Evan smiled as he lay on the ground.
“Of course I did! You never call me anymore!” I pouted, though I knew he wouldn’t see it in the dark.
“Sorry, you never gave me a number to call,” Evan explained.
“Oh, well why didn’t you ask? Here,” I said, getting up and writing down the numbers he could reach me at.
“Thank you. I heard that you live with your sister,” Evan stated, putting the paper with my digits in his pocket.
“Yeah…so?” I replied, confused that he would care.
“Then why are you here? You normally never leave you apartment, let alone leaving her by herself,” Evan smirked.
“She’s the reason I left! I had to get away! She is busy building something and won’t tell me!” I yelled, waving my hands like I normally do.
“Ah, well then come to my place. You can stay for as long as you want,” Evan whispered right in my ear. He knew I loved the way he did that, and there was no way I would refuse to going to his place.
“Mmmkay,” was all I could manage. We walked off to his car and he drove me to his place.
When we got there we went to the couch and just laid there watching T.V until I fell asleep on him, like I normally do. But instead of sleeping there with me, this time he picked me up from the couch and carried me to his room and laid me on his bed. He got changed and laid next to me on his bed.
I stayed at his place until one afternoon………
“Love you,” I whispered, but it was muffled by his chest that I just so happen to be nuzzling.
“I love you too,” Evan whispered, stroking my hair that went all the way down to my thighs. Yes, it is a pain in the buttose. But I live with it.
   *Insert annoying ring here*
“I got it, don’t move,” Evan told me, reaching for his home phone.
“Ok,” I replied as he picked up.
“Hello?” Evan asked as he answered.
“Hey, can I talk to Rosy. I know she’s there,” Dallas asked.
“Sure,” Evan replied, handing me the phone and mouthing to me who it was.
   “Hey,” I replied.
“It’s done. I want to show you, so come home…now.” Dallas demanded.
“Ok, ok, I’m leaving,” I answered, giggling.
   “Kay,” Dallas replied, hanging up.
“I got to go, she wants to show me what she built,” I explained to Evan as I also hung up.
“Can I come with?” Evan asked, using the puppy dog look.
“Ok,” I responded, ruffling his hair.
“Yeay,” Evan replied, fixing his hair.
So we went to his car and he drove me back to mine and Dallas’ apartment. We walked up the stairs, the elevator was out of order, to the right one and I walked in. I wondered why she left the door unlocked, so I went to find her.
“Dal!” I called as Evan closed the door.
“Maybe she isn’t here?” Evan suggested, though he knew how stupid it sounded as he said it.
“It was this number that called your place, she has to be here,” I said panicked. I had no idea where she was.
“Ha, scared you didn’t I?” Dallas said, smirking right behind me.
“How did you…?” I started to ask.
“With this,” Dallas replied, showing me her silver bracelet.
“What is…is that the…” I started, looking at the silver bracelet again and thinking of what it could be.
“Yes, this is the A.R Bracelet. The one we talked about years ago,” Dallas explained.
“No way!” I said, over exaggerating the way I said it.
“Yeah, watch,” Dallas smirked. She then pushed a button and swiped her arm in a nice big arch and reached in and pulled out a Killer Lance from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Then swiped her arm again to close the purple space hole to everywhere.
“Cool!” I called, taking the lance from her.
“I know! I made lots, that why I didn’t want you to bother me,” Dallas explained, holding one out to me.
   “Really?!” I called excitedly.
“Yeah, and one for him to if you want,” Dallas said a bit reluctantly.
“Yeays! Can you give it to him now please?” I asked, ever so nicely.
“Sure, here you go not Adam,” Dallas said, handing him his own A.R Bracelet.
“Thank you Dallas,” Evan replied, putting his on.
“We can do anything! Sweet!” I yelled, once again waving my arms violently.
   “Yeah,” Dallas agreed.
“Hey, Dal, want to start up our own bad guy thing? Liked the one we talked about ages ago,” I asked, watching Evan try to work his A.R Bracelet.
“Sure, but we don’t have a place to start it up,” Dallas stated.
“I know where we could put it,” I replied with that one evil smile everyone is scared of when they see it on my features.
“Where?” Dallas asked, scared and confused. Scared of the evil smile, confused that I knew where to start it up.
We rode off to ‘The Wall’ and went behind it. There was a really big plot of land behind the club that you could build another building there. So Dallas and I used our A.R Bracelet’s to make a tall black tower that would house our bad guy thing.
“You have a name?” Dallas asked, doing what she does best. Ask questions then tells me I’m wrong for the hell of it.
“Yes I do. This is the ‘Dark Tower of Dooom!’ and we have had an evil team name for soooo long! We’re ‘Team Dragon’!” I replied, happily.
“Oh, right. Awesome,” Dallas replied, as we walked into the Dark Tower of Dooom!
So we set up everything, the tables, chairs, TV’s, security systems, kitchens, our cushions, and then we made the team shirts, and the other uniforms. We set up everything else we wanted, we could have our own ways (heck, it’s a really big tower). The only thing we really needed was people. We made our some of our admins, using our A.R Bracelet’s. I asked if I could get my friends to join, Dallas agreed. She and I were the head leaders. I was Team Dragon Leader B, Dallas was Team Dragon Leader A. She wasn’t easily persuaded to be A, but I got her to agree anyway. Evan was Team Dragon Admin Rank S, which is highest rank for admins. He was first after all.
I went out to find the rest of the wall, or any one of them that wanted to join anyway. So I decided that I would get Matt (aka Mike…aka Mr. Sniffles) after I killed people first. I felt like shooting people in the face…with what you ask? Well with explosive tipped yogurt bullets, that’s what!
I walked off to where I heard he was living last, and saw some people that I knew I didn’t like. I swiped my arm in an arch and pulled out a shotgun, with explosive tipped yogurt bullets, and then closed the portal. I walked closer to the group and held my shotgun at my side. When I got close enough to hear what they were saying it only gave me more reasons to kill them.
“The red head started up that club. No wonder no one goes there except weekends, it’s filthy!”
“I know, makes sense doesn’t it? The stupidest one saves a building that should be destroyed and she doesn’t even take care of it!”
“And who are those other losers who go there during the week? The rest of the stupid people that got conned into paying for it?”
“No, they’re the ‘red heads’ friends that wanted to help create something other people would enjoy. And just to let you know, it is the cleanest place here!” I interjected, holding up my shotgun. I shot all but one, just to save him for last, and glared at him holding the barrel right up to his forehead.
“You won’t get away with this!” he said.
“Oh? Well of course I will. What kind of bad guy would I be if I didn’t?” I asked, then shot him in the eye and watched as he flew backwards in the cool anime spin they do when they get hit. His blood splirted everywhere, like 10 feet or something. It was really cool.
I continued on to his house, with gun still in hand, and I found him near a tree. I snuck up behind him, holding the gun to his back, and then nudged him so he knew I was there.
“Hello Matt, it’s been awhile hasn’t it?” I started, like a normal conversation, but there was the a touch a venom in my voice that made how I felt a little more out there than it should.
“Yes, it has. So…what are you doing here?” Matt asked, scared of the gun.
“Join the dark side, or all your guts will be plastered on this tree forever,” I stated, barrel pressed against his back.
“Ok, ok, I will. Geez Rosy, you could have just asked,” Matt said, still not turning to face me.
“Meh,” I shrugged, shotgun still in hand. I put it so the barrel was at the ground and then he turned to face me.
“What’s it loaded with?” Matt asked, thinking he already knew, from early conversations with me.
“Explosive tipped yogurt bullets,” I smirked.
“Figured,” Matt replied, remembering the one conversation we had on a walk home from school years ago.
“We have cookies, cake, money is a given, and we also have A.R Bracelets. Welcome to Team Dragon Mr. Sniffles,” I smiled, patting his shoulder.
   “Tha~~nks,” Matt said sarcastically.
“Now to get Dave,” I replied, ignoring his sarcasm.
“Ok,” Matt agreed, and we went off to go get Dave.

I'm going to be quick and as polite as I can, since I do not want to spam up Dark Dragons thread, or fill it with unnecessary off topic posts, but Endless...the text talk has to go. It's not only an eye sore, but it's against the forum rules as well.

And Dark Dragon...I'd actually like to see you post a complete story just once  :P You have a lot of work started on here, but I don't think I've read one that's completed yet. A few of them I find to be quite interesting, and I'd really like to know how they end :)

Sweet Scent of Blood
Chapter 2
I walked off with Matt beside me, and we went to where I heard Dave was living. I decided to be a little nicer and not threaten him to join up. I put my shotgun away the same way I brought it out. I found Dave where I expected to find him, at home. So I went up to the door, and knocked.
“Hey Rosy, Mike,” Dave greeted, letting us in.
“Hey Dave,” I said, smiling a little bit.
“Hey,” Matt said, as we both walked into Dave’s house.
“So how’s it going Dave?” I asked, starting up normal conversation as I sat on his couch. Hey, at least I’m being nicer.
“Eh, ok I suppose,” Dave replied. I liked his answer.
“So, you want to join up wit me and Dal?” I asked, like it was normal conversation.
“Sure why not,” Dave answered, seeing my semi evil smile.
“Sweet, just follow me and we will go see Dal. She will test you to see if you deserve our weapon.” I explained, standing up and heading for the door.
“Weapon? What weapon? Why is there a weapon involved?” Dave asked, now confused as we walked down the street.
“Dave, you just joined the dark side. There is obviously going to be a weapon,” I stated with an evil smirk.
“You could have told me that you were the dark side,” Dave muttered, not really minding being on said dark side.
“Hey, I was nicer to you than I was to Mr. Sniffles over here,” I stated darkly, waving my hand over to Matt.
“Hey, I have to ask, but did you start up…” Matt started but I cut him off.
“Not yet, but I promise you that ISSP will be up and running shortly,” I said, Dave giving us a questioning look.
“You want to work for ISSP. Trust me, the pay is phenomenal, and it does good in the world,” I explained to Dave and Matt.
“Sure, I would love to,” Matt said, glad that he will get paid for the best thing in the world to do.
“What is ISSP, and why wasn’t I ever told about it?” Dave asked, seeing he was out of the thwomp.
“ISSP stands for I Slap Stupid People, and seriously, some one has to do it. So why not a cover for the world’s newest evil corporation to create,” I said, with that evil grin that would send shivers done anyone (good or pure evil)’s spine.
“Ah, well I’m sure it pays well,” Dave said, smiling nervously.
“Oh, it pays well,” Matt laughed.
“It does,” I smirked, lessening the dark feel of my evil grin.
“Oh hey, is Evan already their or what?” Matt asked as we got closer to the club.
“Oh, yeah he is. He was the first one, really,” I said, looking happy as we walked to the back of the club.
“So I am guessing that this is the evil people place,” Dave suggested as we walked up to The Dark Tower of Dooom!
“Yep, you guys go on inside, I’m gonna put up ISSP,” I replied, as they walked into the tower.
I walked to the front and headed to my designated floors and set up my corporation. I  had everything down when I got paged that Dal wanted to see me.
“Tell her I’ll be right down, ok Scott,” I responded, finishing the last touches of my corporation.
   “Yes Rosy,” Scott answered back.
I was down, all the way down, and went to mine and Dal’s main room. It was kinda like a living room, just with more TV’s and stuff.
“Hey Dal, you wanted to see me?” I said, smiling as I saw her watching a movie. I waited as she hit pause and patted the black cushion beside her.
“Hey, your friends showed up. Alexander kinda confused them, but I saved them from the long floor explanation. They better be grateful, anyway only Dave passed the test. Sniffles was close and not Adam failed with flying colours, so I demoted him to grunt. Want some popcorn?” Dal said, as she unpaused her movie.
“Oh, I see then. Well, does this mean Mr. Sniffles gets to use the food loaded weapons?” I asked, reaching for a bit of her popcorn.
“Sure, why not. Yours is in the mininucker,” Dal told me, pulling her popcorn away from my hand.
“Ah, well thanks. So what number does Evan get, since he’s a grunt and all,” I asked from the kitchen.
“2476, he works in the garden,” Dal smirked darkly. And she is dark when she smirks, and I thought I looked evil. Dal suits evil well.
“Nice, way to kill my boyfriend,” I said a little darkly.
“Oh please, he won’t die if he does it right,” Dal said, still watching her movie.
“Oh I see. Ok then,” I said, as her and I finished watching her movie.

That night…

“I can’t see a thing, and those stupid scientists suck,” Evan mumbled, trying to water the plants.
“Boo?” I called out, trying to find him.
“Rose, what are you doing out here?” Evan asked me.
“Looking for you,” I smiled, seeing him clearly. With the A.R, Bracelet I could do everything.
“Ah, why?” Evan asked not wanting to see me because he got demoted.
“Because I love you, silly. Don’t you love me?” I asked, a little confused about his attitude.
“I was highest Admin, then this stupid test from your sister demoted me, so I guess I don’t love you at the moment,” Evan muttered.
“It was a test to see if you could use the A.R Bracelet, don’t blame me, everyone has to take it,” I explained.
“Well I don’t like it, and I’m mad at you,” Evan said walking away from me.
“Fine whatever. Be a bitch, I’ll just break up with you, then my troubles with you would be over,” I yelled at him.
“Don’t do anything you would regret,” Evan yelled to me.
“I did that once, so I won’t do that again. But poor you, that means your single now!” I yelled some more.
“Fine, you were too crazy for me anyway,” Evan called back.
“I hope the plants eat you!” I yelled loudly at him, turning around and stomping off.

That morning…

“Looks like grunt 2476 was finally found,” Dal told me in my office.
“Really? Where?” I asked, relaxing in my comfy spiny chair (I have always wanted one of those).
“Eaten by the plants it looks like,” Dal told me, not caring.
“Seriously? Well, that’s odd,” I replied, sitting up now.
“How is it odd, he worked in the garden,” Dal said, just the tiniest bit confused.
“Well, the last thing I told him last night was that I hoped the plants eat him. And they did,” I said, confused even further.
“Looks like you have the natural power to kill people the way you want them to die,” Dal told me, like it wasn’t even new news.
“What?” I asked, looking confused now.
“The A.R Bracelet does that. Every one that has one has a natural power that comes with it, mine is pain and everything to do with it. Looks like yours isn’t what you have always wanted it to be,” Dal explained, smirking at my expression.
“Damn it, all I can do is kill people! Pooy,” I pouted.
“Like that matters, you have all the powers you always wanted, since you own the A.R Bracelet and all,” Dal said, getting up from her chair.
“True, I suppose. I can do everything!” I said happily.
“Good, now that you’re happy, get back to work and slap those stupid douche bags,” Dal told me, as she left.
“I will!” I called, rushing out to the streets.

Sweet Scent of Blood
Chapter 3

I walked along the streets, looking around at everyone. When I found someone acting, or doing, or saying something stupid I’d slap them then put a sticky sign on their back that read ‘I’m stupid’ and run off.
After 5 hours of this, I decided to take a break. So I headed off to a restaurant nearby. Once I walked in, I went and sat at a nice window seat and saw Dave and Matt sitting a few tables away. I started to wonder why they were here, but then thought it was for the same reason I was, break time. So I decided to jump a few seats closer to them, but not close enough for them to see me. So I did. I started to hear what they were saying.
“Isn’t this a fun job Dave?” Matt asked, seeing as how this is their first day.
“It’s not so bad, and yeah it’s kinda fun,” Dave replied.
“I thought you would like it, at least a little,” Matt said, smiling  a little.
“So...just out of the blue, anyone interest you at ‘work’?” Dave asked, making Matt blush a little.
“What! Why would you ask that? No!” Matt said quickly. But I saw his blush, so I knew he did.
“Really, not even Brittney?” Dave asked out of curiosity.
“Ok, well maybe,” Matt said, not sure about his feelings and definitely not wanting to talk about them to Dave.
“Ah, well if you do like her you best hurry or she will be gone,” Dave said.
“I know,” Matt said, still not sure.
That’s when their food arrived and conversation died. I got my food as well, and I was a little sad. But I finished and went back to The Dark Tower of Dooom! to continue work.
“Hey, Ms. Rose, we have a little problem,” one of the scientists said as I walked in the building.
“What is it?” I asked, not in a good mood.
“It seems that..Jiji brought Evan back to life,” he replied.
“WHAT!!?” I yelled in both anger and astonishment.
“That’s what your sister said too. But yes, he is alive now,” he continued.
“Why? Who wished for him to live?” I asked, my mood getting worse.
“It seems that your Garceus did. No one knows why though,” he said, noticing my mood.
“Fine, I suppose its best. Fire him, strip him of everything that is Team Dragon,” I growled out stomping to my floors.
I sat down, groaned out of frustration and went to my paper work. Then got bored a half hour later when it was done. So I just sat at my desk and cried a little. Until I got paged, but it wasn’t from my intercom.
   “Rose?” the tower computer asked.
“What computer?” I asked, with a small sniffle.
“What’s the matter?” computer asked, with real concern.
“Personal issues, nothing for you to worry about,” I tried to reassure her.
“It sounds like I should be concerned though. You are crying, a lot may I add. You seem to be almost out of tissues. Rose, please tell me what has got you so sad,” Computer asked.
“You sound like my mom,” I muttered, wiping my eyes.
“At least that’s a good thing,” Computer said.
“Ok, I suppose I could tell you, but I don’t want it to seem like I’m talking to myself,” I said, pretty much telling her to make a hologram of herself.
“Ok, I’ll be there in a moment,” Computer said. Then in a few seconds, there she was in holographic blue. Tall, hair to her waist, in beautiful heels, a cute plaid mini skirt, a long sleeved mesh top with a cute tight T-shirt with a heart on the front, a choke chain necklace and skully earrings.
   “Better,” I sniffed lightly.
“Ok, now tell me,” Computer said lightly as she put her arms around me.
“Well, it happened like this...” I started, trying to hold back the tears. I told her everything from when Evan was being a douche to when I got back to the tower.
“Aww, poor girl, I feel for you. It’s all going to be ok now. I’m here to help you out,” Computer said, gently smoothing my hair.
“Thank you,” I said, fixing myself up after she let me go.
“I’ll let you get back to work,” Computer said, leaving me.
After that, I went to go see Dal. I needed some sister comforting. If it were to be anyone, it would have to be Dal to help me.
I found Dal in our main room, in front of the T.V’s, so I just sighed and let her be.
I walked around sulking for awhile, and decided that I would just talk to Matt about everything. All I had to do was find him, so I walked everywhere looking for him but to no avail.
I sighed with tears in my eyes and went back to the tower and went to my office room and just sat at my desk. I then decided to pull out my laptop. I logged on, logged in to msn and started to type up some poems when a certain someone started to talk to me.
I was overjoyed, and started to talk to him, then as the conversation went on I noticed that he noticed at lot about me that day. So then I decided it was now or never and asked him. First as a hypothetical question, then as the real thing. Then I was smiling so much it started to hurt. He said he would go out with me and I was super happy.

The next day...

“And  I was like, what no way, then she was all...” Matt started then stopped as I walked by them on the other side of the street.
“Gorgeous and in your face,” Dave filled in, with a few chuckles.
“Shush, she’s awesome,” Matt said, a tiny angry look.
“I know she is, that’s why I work for her,” Dave said nicely.
“What’s that in her hand though?” Matt asked, not seeing it at that far of a distance.
“Um, it’s a gun, a shotgun...and she looks ever so pissed off,” Dave stated, not knowing why though.
“What to go see where she’s going?” Matt asked, small hint of concern in his voice.
“Dude, she’ll be fine, she has a frickin shotgun with her,” Dave said hearing the concern from Matt.
“I just want to try to cheer her up. That’s all,” Matt said, about to follow me.
“I wouldn’t try to figure any of that out,” a voice from behind them said.
“Evan?” Dave asked, confused because he heard that Evan died.
“Yup, it’s me,” Evan said, a bit smugly too.
“Why are you here? Thought you died,” Dave said, a bit sarcastically. Matt just glaring at him the whole time.
“I was dead, but then Jirachi brought me back because the stupid crossbreed wanted me to live again. Don’t know why, but here I am,” Evan said, as he saw me turn the corner.
“You made her cry,” Matt growled at him, thoroughly pissed off. Matt then started to glow a little bit dark red.
“Pfft...so? She meant nothing to me,” Evan said smirking. Dave looked over at Matt to see the dark red glow more see able now.
“Then why?” Matt snarled, the glow flaring up around him.
“Eh, for bragging rights really. I did plan to dump her,” Evan continued.
“You stupid f@#%ing son of a bitch! I’ll kill you for what you put her through!” Matt yelled, grabbing Evan’s throat and slamming him into a building. Pulling his right arm back, claws form on his fingers, and tore at Evans throat, then clawed all the way down to his chest and pulled his heart out, waved it in front of Evan, “You see this,” Matt asked darkly, waving it gently before Evan’s eyes, Evan nodded, “You won’t be needing it anymore.” Matt tore Evan’s heart out all the way and burned it. Then I came around the corner to see the wreckage.
“Damn..Holy Schnits!” I gasped as I saw the aura around Matt.
“What?” Matt asked, slightly confused to my reaction.
“You has magic lovely,” I pointed out.
“You mean you didn’t notice?” Dave asked, a little shocked himself.
“Not really, though I kinda figured as much when I tore out Evan’s heart...” Matt stated.
“You massacred him,” Dave stated in a small bit of shock.
“Aww, I wanted to kill him though,” I pouted, “But good job anyway.”
“Thanks, it’d was just that he was pissing me off so I just had to kill him,” Matt said, not in the least apologetic.
“Is fine. Come on, I’m taking the two of you on break,” I said, putting my shotgun away and heading off to a good restaurant.
We sat at the restaurant and ate our food talking about our days and then we headed back to The Dark Tower of Dooom! to play some video games.

Oh, well thank you. I was just typing too fast and I didn't have my thesaurus(sp?) around with me, and that would be my sister. But thank you anyway!
