Sweet Scent of Blood
By: Dark Dragon
Chapter 1
“Dal, what are you doing?” I asked, walking into our apartment.
It has been a few years now, so it’s 2015, so about six. Anyway, my sister Dallas is a genius. She can do a lot, like build things that one never thought they could live without. She’s amazing. We live together because we promised we would a few years back. So now that we do, we like it a lot. Mainly because we have our own rooms so we can do whatever we want to.
“Building something I said I would a few years back,” Dal responded to me, waving her hand for me to be gone.
“Mmmkay,” I mumbled walking off.
That went on for a few days, her answer was the same every time I asked her that question. Her waving me off to go away was the same every time as well. So I decided to leave her alone to work, so I left her a sticky note of where I would be and how to reach me.
I walked off to the one place where I loved to be. A place where all my friends I knew in high school go to when ever they really wanted to. I went to ‘The Wall’, it is a club. Well the outside looked that way anyway. It really was a big abandoned building that no one went to and I decided to buy it and make it useful. I used all the money I had, and some from every one else I knew who wanted that place. I made it into a club, for weekends, to make some money off it.
“I love this place,” I muttered as I walked in to my beloved club.
“We all do, Rose,” I heard from somewhere farther in.
“I know, but I think I love it the most,” I replied, walking farther to sit down.
“Oh, we’ll see.” I knew I heard the voice before, it sounded male. I just couldn’t pinpoint it just yet. I was still mad at Dal for not telling me what she was doing.
“I know I should’ve asked this when you spoke earlier, but who’s there?” I asked, feeling stupid that I had to ask.
“You really should have, but I suppose you will know, My Rose.” I finally realized who it was. The way he said that last part gave him away.
“Oh, I should have known it was you boo,” I smiled as I jumped up and pounced on him.
“Oof! Hey there, it seems like you’ve missed me,” Evan smiled as he lay on the ground.
“Of course I did! You never call me anymore!” I pouted, though I knew he wouldn’t see it in the dark.
“Sorry, you never gave me a number to call,” Evan explained.
“Oh, well why didn’t you ask? Here,” I said, getting up and writing down the numbers he could reach me at.
“Thank you. I heard that you live with your sister,” Evan stated, putting the paper with my digits in his pocket.
“Yeah…so?” I replied, confused that he would care.
“Then why are you here? You normally never leave you apartment, let alone leaving her by herself,” Evan smirked.
“She’s the reason I left! I had to get away! She is busy building something and won’t tell me!” I yelled, waving my hands like I normally do.
“Ah, well then come to my place. You can stay for as long as you want,” Evan whispered right in my ear. He knew I loved the way he did that, and there was no way I would refuse to going to his place.
“Mmmkay,” was all I could manage. We walked off to his car and he drove me to his place.
When we got there we went to the couch and just laid there watching T.V until I fell asleep on him, like I normally do. But instead of sleeping there with me, this time he picked me up from the couch and carried me to his room and laid me on his bed. He got changed and laid next to me on his bed.
I stayed at his place until one afternoon………
“Love you,” I whispered, but it was muffled by his chest that I just so happen to be nuzzling.
“I love you too,” Evan whispered, stroking my hair that went all the way down to my thighs. Yes, it is a pain in the buttose. But I live with it.
*Insert annoying ring here*
“I got it, don’t move,” Evan told me, reaching for his home phone.
“Ok,” I replied as he picked up.
“Hello?” Evan asked as he answered.
“Hey, can I talk to Rosy. I know she’s there,” Dallas asked.
“Sure,” Evan replied, handing me the phone and mouthing to me who it was.
“Hey,” I replied.
“It’s done. I want to show you, so come home…now.” Dallas demanded.
“Ok, ok, I’m leaving,” I answered, giggling.
“Kay,” Dallas replied, hanging up.
“I got to go, she wants to show me what she built,” I explained to Evan as I also hung up.
“Can I come with?” Evan asked, using the puppy dog look.
“Ok,” I responded, ruffling his hair.
“Yeay,” Evan replied, fixing his hair.
So we went to his car and he drove me back to mine and Dallas’ apartment. We walked up the stairs, the elevator was out of order, to the right one and I walked in. I wondered why she left the door unlocked, so I went to find her.
“Dal!” I called as Evan closed the door.
“Maybe she isn’t here?” Evan suggested, though he knew how stupid it sounded as he said it.
“It was this number that called your place, she has to be here,” I said panicked. I had no idea where she was.
“Ha, scared you didn’t I?” Dallas said, smirking right behind me.
“How did you…?” I started to ask.
“With this,” Dallas replied, showing me her silver bracelet.
“What is…is that the…” I started, looking at the silver bracelet again and thinking of what it could be.
“Yes, this is the A.R Bracelet. The one we talked about years ago,” Dallas explained.
“No way!” I said, over exaggerating the way I said it.
“Yeah, watch,” Dallas smirked. She then pushed a button and swiped her arm in a nice big arch and reached in and pulled out a Killer Lance from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Then swiped her arm again to close the purple space hole to everywhere.
“Cool!” I called, taking the lance from her.
“I know! I made lots, that why I didn’t want you to bother me,” Dallas explained, holding one out to me.
“Really?!” I called excitedly.
“Yeah, and one for him to if you want,” Dallas said a bit reluctantly.
“Yeays! Can you give it to him now please?” I asked, ever so nicely.
“Sure, here you go not Adam,” Dallas said, handing him his own A.R Bracelet.
“Thank you Dallas,” Evan replied, putting his on.
“We can do anything! Sweet!” I yelled, once again waving my arms violently.
“Yeah,” Dallas agreed.
“Hey, Dal, want to start up our own bad guy thing? Liked the one we talked about ages ago,” I asked, watching Evan try to work his A.R Bracelet.
“Sure, but we don’t have a place to start it up,” Dallas stated.
“I know where we could put it,” I replied with that one evil smile everyone is scared of when they see it on my features.
“Where?” Dallas asked, scared and confused. Scared of the evil smile, confused that I knew where to start it up.
We rode off to ‘The Wall’ and went behind it. There was a really big plot of land behind the club that you could build another building there. So Dallas and I used our A.R Bracelet’s to make a tall black tower that would house our bad guy thing.
“You have a name?” Dallas asked, doing what she does best. Ask questions then tells me I’m wrong for the hell of it.
“Yes I do. This is the ‘Dark Tower of Dooom!’ and we have had an evil team name for soooo long! We’re ‘Team Dragon’!” I replied, happily.
“Oh, right. Awesome,” Dallas replied, as we walked into the Dark Tower of Dooom!
So we set up everything, the tables, chairs, TV’s, security systems, kitchens, our cushions, and then we made the team shirts, and the other uniforms. We set up everything else we wanted, we could have our own ways (heck, it’s a really big tower). The only thing we really needed was people. We made our some of our admins, using our A.R Bracelet’s. I asked if I could get my friends to join, Dallas agreed. She and I were the head leaders. I was Team Dragon Leader B, Dallas was Team Dragon Leader A. She wasn’t easily persuaded to be A, but I got her to agree anyway. Evan was Team Dragon Admin Rank S, which is highest rank for admins. He was first after all.
I went out to find the rest of the wall, or any one of them that wanted to join anyway. So I decided that I would get Matt (aka Mike…aka Mr. Sniffles) after I killed people first. I felt like shooting people in the face…with what you ask? Well with explosive tipped yogurt bullets, that’s what!
I walked off to where I heard he was living last, and saw some people that I knew I didn’t like. I swiped my arm in an arch and pulled out a shotgun, with explosive tipped yogurt bullets, and then closed the portal. I walked closer to the group and held my shotgun at my side. When I got close enough to hear what they were saying it only gave me more reasons to kill them.
“The red head started up that club. No wonder no one goes there except weekends, it’s filthy!”
“I know, makes sense doesn’t it? The stupidest one saves a building that should be destroyed and she doesn’t even take care of it!”
“And who are those other losers who go there during the week? The rest of the stupid people that got conned into paying for it?”
“No, they’re the ‘red heads’ friends that wanted to help create something other people would enjoy. And just to let you know, it is the cleanest place here!” I interjected, holding up my shotgun. I shot all but one, just to save him for last, and glared at him holding the barrel right up to his forehead.
“You won’t get away with this!” he said.
“Oh? Well of course I will. What kind of bad guy would I be if I didn’t?” I asked, then shot him in the eye and watched as he flew backwards in the cool anime spin they do when they get hit. His blood splirted everywhere, like 10 feet or something. It was really cool.
I continued on to his house, with gun still in hand, and I found him near a tree. I snuck up behind him, holding the gun to his back, and then nudged him so he knew I was there.
“Hello Matt, it’s been awhile hasn’t it?” I started, like a normal conversation, but there was the a touch a venom in my voice that made how I felt a little more out there than it should.
“Yes, it has. So…what are you doing here?” Matt asked, scared of the gun.
“Join the dark side, or all your guts will be plastered on this tree forever,” I stated, barrel pressed against his back.
“Ok, ok, I will. Geez Rosy, you could have just asked,” Matt said, still not turning to face me.
“Meh,” I shrugged, shotgun still in hand. I put it so the barrel was at the ground and then he turned to face me.
“What’s it loaded with?” Matt asked, thinking he already knew, from early conversations with me.
“Explosive tipped yogurt bullets,” I smirked.
“Figured,” Matt replied, remembering the one conversation we had on a walk home from school years ago.
“We have cookies, cake, money is a given, and we also have A.R Bracelets. Welcome to Team Dragon Mr. Sniffles,” I smiled, patting his shoulder.
“Tha~~nks,” Matt said sarcastically.
“Now to get Dave,” I replied, ignoring his sarcasm.
“Ok,” Matt agreed, and we went off to go get Dave.
