Anyone here use Game Maker?

Maybe this is the wrong spot for this, I apologize if it is.

So, I've been using this game creation software for a while, it's called Game Maker, for more information (and a download of it) click here*.

Basically, it's the most powerful tool that's still reasonably easy to use to program games. I'm working on a couple projects right now, and I plan to have them finished... eventually.

Ya don't say >_>

Anyway, I used to use Game Maker (and have been registered since version 5), but I don't use it these days. Not to say it's bad, but it's just not for me.

That said, I do have a bunch of half-baked projects of my own I may finish some day.

Cool!

I probably didn't need to post that YYG isn't my website, but I figured it would be good to nip any problems in the bud before they got possessed by the spirit of an evil door and grew to wildly large proportions. ;)

I use it. I use 6 and 5, been staying away from 7 because of SoftWrap.

Also, recently I found out about Enigma, which is just like GM [it's main file format is .GM6 even], but it's free [but currently broken in strange ways, notably collision and currently only supporting the code DnD block].

I'm working on a project in GM6, bilateral, but my current machine is a Vista box, so...

Same.

Edit: Also, if anyone ever DOES say it's bad, they've clearly never played An Untitled Story, among other masterpieces.
